I noticed that Wordpress charges a fee for you to make changes to your blog and blogspot doesn’t..But does wordpress have some other advantage over google’s blogspot that I’m missing?

point me in the right direction? I want to use wordpress and create a magazine style layout with content management system. I have a domain name and I have hosting, but I can’t find anywhere online on how to set it up. I have a free wordpress blog, but that has nothing to do with a magazine style layout where I have about 4-5 different columns, right?

I’ve been trying everything and unfortunately they won’t work. I tried posting a playlist in my wordpress in the ‘Pages’ section but the playlist won’t show. Can someone please help with this?

For example lets say you want to add a sideshow gallery or a twitter feed to your sidebar, simply drag and drop the content where you want it.

How about a featured post area or text/html anywhere you want on your page, just drag and drop. It is amazingly simple.

While this fine granular control is great, sometimes it can come off a bit complex and does have a learning curve of its own. However once you get the hang of it you can really have complete control of your site.

Who should use Headway:

• Are you looking to upgrade your Wordpress theme to some thing more flexible and robust than you can find with a Free Wordpress theme? If so then Headway might be for you.

• Do you struggle with making changes to PHP code or customizing your Wordpress blog via CSS? If so then Headway might be for you.

• Do you want complete control over every element of your theme, without knowing any code? If so then Headway might be for you.

If you are in the market for a Premium Wordpress Theme, I would definitely suggest you check out Headway and its capabilities. They are pretty impressive. If you’re hesitating between Thesis & Headway, I’d say that Headway is a better pick for non-tech people. People who are familiar with WordPress should grab Thesis instead.

On May 5, 2010, Scott Gerlach, the Manager of Information Security Operations of Go Daddy, reached out to our community and spoke at our WordPress Security Teleseminar. The audio replay is still available.

GoDaddy has also replied to comments, created support articles and made a special “Security Issue” form on their website. They’ve actively emailed and/or called their customers that may have been affected. (If you’re site has been compromised and you have not heard from Go Daddy yet, please be sure to contact their Security Team.)

In addition, GoDaddy has been providing us with statements to keep our readers informed.

WordPress Exploit Update 5/13/2010

“Early into our investigation, Go Daddy noticed a majority of exploited websites were all running WordPress. After feedback from customers, more attacks and more in-depth analysis, we modified our statement to specify the attacks targeted numerous PHP-based applications, which included WordPress.

Transparency is a core value at Go Daddy. We intend to continue our commitment to communications. There are times, however, when publicly revealing too much, such as specific code from the attack, helps the criminals causing the issue.

We are aggressively collecting data to see how the attack is maturing and to discover ways we can help prevent our customers from being impacted and shut down ‘the bad guys’ altogether. Go Daddy is leading an ongoing effort, working with industry security experts and other top hosting providers.

As part of our investigation, Go Daddy is encouraging customer input about their related website issues, which is why we set up a special form: http://www.GoDaddy.com/securityissue.

I know nothing about blogging, Its just that my friend tells me to use wordpress but I want to start my blog offline to save money. So, can I use ez generator as an offline blogger while using wordpress on it?
